Credentials employers recognize and value in today's workforce

While professional attitudes and work habits are essential for the 21st century economy, they are often overlooked in educational programs. WIN Learning's Ready to Work and Essential Soft Skills credentials helps learners develop and demonstrate the foundational workplace academics, attitudes, and behaviors that are critical to career and life success. The WIN Career Readiness System is a comprehensive approach to preparing  emerging and reemerging jobseekers for success while providing future employers with workplace-ready candidates.

Ready to Work Credentials

The R2W assessments provide a customized credential that students can add to their portfolio. The credential shows the degree to which students have mastered the skills assessed and their level of accomplishment.

The assessment component is scored on a scale from 3 to 7. The higher the score, the greater the student’s ability to perform more complex tasks and qualify for a broader range of jobs.

There are four credential levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The credential level is determined by the minimum or lowest score across all three tests (Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information.

Essential Soft Skills Credentials

The Essential Soft Skills Assessment is scored as Pass or Not Passed based on the total questions answered correctly.
Each question is a workplace-based scenario where participants select the "Best" and "Worst" way to handle a specific situation to demonstrate mastery of appropriate behaviors and attitudes employers look for most when making hiring and retention decisions.

The attitudinal and behavioral skills measured on the Essential Soft Skills Assessment are Cooperate with Others, Resolve Conflict and Negotiate, Solve Problems and Make Decisions, Take Responsibility for Learning, and Observe Critically. Participants need to earn a 70% or greater on the Essential Soft Skills Assessment to earn the Essential Soft Skills Credential.

Validated credentials based on the competencies employers value most when making hiring and retention decisions.
