Soft Skills Courseware helps learners develop and demonstrate attitudinal and behavioral skills that are essential to success in the workplace and school. These competencies are a key component of WIN’s comprehensive approach to preparing learners and job seekers for success and providing future employers with workplace-ready candidates.
Engaging Blended Learning Course Content
Soft Skills courseware includes a pretest, course instructional content, and a posttest to measure learning gains. Embedded interactive activities maximize learner engagement and understanding of key concepts, with testimonial videos featuring employers sharing in their own words why soft skills matter and scenario-based videos demonstrating the best and the worst response to relatable workplace situations, and practice activities. The blended learning model also includes offline project-based activities that allow students to demonstrate the transfer of knowledge and application of skills through collaborative capstone projects.

- Program Facilitator Guide — facilitators and instructors have access to hands-on materials to expand on their knowledge and skills gained from the digital courseware. Facilitator guide includes: instructional units with learning objectives, independent and group exercises, debrief and review, along with formative and summative assessments.
- Project-Based Learning (PBL) Activities — In addition to the self-directed activities and application, learners engage in a collaborative PBL activity around one of the 4 modules. Learners work in groups of five, and review the project instructions to complete a collaborative task within the project deadline of one hour. Learners present their findings or completed project.
- Culminating Capstone Project — To assess in the transfer of knowledge and application of the essential soft skills, learners engage in a final capstone project or task. Learners practice questioning techniques, research of key information, gather references and recommendations, and practice effective organization, planning, and communication skills.
