WIN Learning Career Readiness System Release Updates: March 2025

Version 6.3.0      Released 3/19/2025

Summary

Version 6.3.0 of WIN Career Readiness System code was released to production on March 19, 2025. Highlights of the release include:

  • My Work Ready Updates
  • My Assignments Enhancements
  • SSO Enhancements
  • Corrections Environment
  • Miscellaneous Fixes and Enhancements

My Work Ready Updates

Adjustments have been made to the Occupation Recommendation Engine to improve results. To view the updated occupation recommendations, update your activity results in some manner. The easiest way is to navigate to any of the activities in Step 2 and then return home to your Today page. Alternatively, any activity you complete in any of the steps will result in updated recommendations.

Occupation recommendations are now limited to the top recommendations, rather than showing all matches regardless of match strength. This highlights the best matches for further exploration.

Fixed a bug where the Completion Date wasn’t shown in the Career Plan if the user cleared Level 5 of the course, but skipped some levels through the Placement Test in Step 4.

Fixed a bug where the page would freeze if the user attempted to print their Career Plan with a large number of career matches in the table.

Fixed a typo found in the MWR Individual Report.

My Assignments

My Assignments got a fresh new look! Learners with assignments will go to Assignments in the menu and have the option to view assignments in the Tile View, The Calendar View, or the List View. Learners can still see the assigned date and due date, instructor, and progress in these newly designed views.

A new List View was added to My Assignments showing the assignments to the learner in a table for quick and easy viewing of assigned date, due date and progress for all assignments.

The new Corrections Environment is a corrections-friendly option for WIN Learning clients. Links to outside sources, such as O*NET services have been removed and areas where users can modify data, such as User Profile, will be set to read only. Currently, only Soft Skills Courseware, Digital Skills Courseware, and Academic Skills Courseware will be available for use with the Corrections Environment.
