Summary

Version 4.1.0 of WIN Career Readiness System code was released to production on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Highlights of the release include:

• Video Library Update

• Miscellaneous enhancements and bug fixes

Video Library

We are excited to announce the release of the WIN Career Readiness Video Library. The Video Library will initially house videos from Essential Soft Skills Courseware, so that learners can access them outside of the courseware. Instructors will have the ability to assign the videos through Assignment Manager as well. 

We plan to expand the library to include other informational, instructional, and inspirational videos over time.

Miscellaneous

Batch Enroll Improvements

• Improved Field Definitions table to include more information about required fields, and to auto-adjust size.

• Automap column headers with “Class” or Class Name” to “Venue Name”

Batch Enroll Fixes

• Enrolling learners in the Florida Ready to Work portal was not working, due to the “learner must edit” fields.

• Date of Birth can be imported via batch enroll as M/DD/YYYY but List and Edit User requires MM/DD/YYYY. This caused an error when editing a learner in List and Edit User. Addressed this so that the system accepts both and does not generate an error. Will address the inconsistency in another release.

• Clicking Discard, clicking the checkmark on a successfully validated record, or unedited record caused the record version to increase when it should not.

Assignment Manager Fixes

• Assign From setting was not working, and Due Date was not turning red when assignment overdue.

• On the Assigned Learner(s) page in Assignment Manager, when learner has been selected and assigned Available From, Available To and Due, and the "Apply to Selected Row(s)" has been clicked, the "Save Changes" button did not become active (remains inactive) until another action was performed.

Miscellaneous Fixes

• Addressed root cause of discrepancy in some portal client’s count of enrolled learners in reports and count of learners in List and Edit Users.

• NWRC Graphs were not showing up on the non-learner dashboard.

• As a learner on the My Assignments screen, the menu items “Show/Hide Offerings” and the printer icon were appearing when they should not.

• Non-learner dashboard print-out had incorrect copyright in the footer.
