Supplemental Skills Courseware

Supplemental Skills is a self-paced course designed to enhance learners' career-ready portfolios. It includes: Business Writing, Applied Technology, and Workplace Observation. Each module contains a placement test which will recommend a starting level according to learners' understanding of the topic. There are five to six levels in every module, each with its own pretest, instructional content, practice exercises, and posttest.

Business Writing measures comprehension of workplace grammar and writing skills using written text on the job including memos, letters, notices, policies, and regulations. 

Applied Technology measures understanding and comprehension about heat, fluids, electricity, and mechanics. 

Workplace Observation measures comprehension and focus when using processes, patterns, procedures and recognizing missing or incorrect steps in the process.
